Rings a bell

I was reading the Washington Post's article about the VA Tech shooter's family response when I tripped upon a familiar name - Wade Smith - he is their lawyer from Raleigh. The name immediately struck a cord with me & I started wondering aloud how I knew him. I thought maybe he was John Edwards' partner or something like that until I googled him.

He was the lawyer in the Fatal Vision trial. And I recognized him by name. From a decades old murder that I have a mild fascination with, to say the least.

Matias just laughed at me when I finally figured it out.
